1. Introduction
Generally speaking, COLOR IMPACT DESIGN & PRINTING SPRL (Rue de Linthout 238 – 1040 Brussels, hereinafter “COLOR IMPACT”) creates, designs, and prints all types of documents used for visual communication.
Through this privacy statement, COLOR IMPACT, in its capacity as data controller, wishes to inform any natural person about whom it collects and processes personal data (hereinafter “Data”) of how their Data is processed.
2. Data
All processing of Data by COLOR IMPACT is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”).
The two categories of data collected by COLOR IMPACT are: (1) certain data from professional contacts (customers and suppliers) of COLOR IMPACT and (2) certain data from visitors to the website www.colorimpact.eu.
In the course of its activities, COLOR IMPACT collects and processes various types of Data in different ways (mainly identification data and financial data), most of which is collected directly from the data subject. COLOR IMPACT does not process any sensitive data. Where COLOR IMPACT has not obtained the Data directly from the data subject, it has obtained it from the company, organization, or authority for which the data subject works, or through a company or organization with which COLOR IMPACT maintains professional contacts. The exact origin of the collected data can be provided upon request.
The collected Data is stored and managed in systems controlled by COLOR IMPACT.
3. Purposes and legal bases for Data processing
COLOR IMPACT uses the collected Data to enable the performance of a contract concluded with a customer or supplier or the processing of a request for a quote or contract from a customer or supplier. COLOR IMPACT bases this processing on its legitimate interest in the case of a B2B relationship (processing is indeed essential for the performance of a contract or the processing of a quote) or on the performance of a contract or the processing of a request for a quote in the case of a B2C relationship.
COLOR IMPACT also uses the Data of its customers and prospects for commercial prospecting. COLOR IMPACT bases this processing, as the case may be, on its legitimate interest (it is indeed legitimate for COLOR IMPACT to be able to promote its products to its customers, while allowing them the possibility to unsubscribe) or on consent (for prospects).
4. Transfer of Data to third parties
COLOR IMPACT undertakes not to transmit or sell the Data to commercial partners for activities other than those described above.
When outsourcing certain activities (for example, at the IT level), COLOR IMPACT may be required to transfer all or part of the Data to service providers and/or its subcontractors and/or its related companies to the extent that this transfer is necessary for the execution of an order and/or is justified by the legitimate interest of COLOR IMPACT.
Data is neither transferred nor processed outside the EEA. Should it prove necessary, COLOR IMPACT undertakes to obtain the consent of the data subject.
5. Rights of the data subject
Any person whose Data has been collected by COLOR IMPACT has the right at any time to request access to the Data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of processing, to object to the processing, as well as, where applicable, the right to Data portability.

6. Retention period
The collected Data will be kept for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and, in any event, for a period equal to the legal retention period for the documents in which it is included and/or until the expiration of the legal statute of limitations.
7. Supervisory authority
